This became evident in the summer of 2023, when travel spending and tourism statistics recorded an escalation, touching 34 million Italians during the busiest period of one year, 10% more than in the year 2022. Staying in hotels was not long; thus, the average was 8 days, demonstrating that Italians have recovered their curiosity.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>63% of the travelers preferred the seaside, while 60 percent selected a nature excursion. Mountain vacations and cultural breaks also became popular, being chosen by 19% and 17% of the respondents, respectively. Port mentions central regions, officially known as regions; the most preferred regional locations were Sicily, Apulia, Tuscany, and Emilia-Romagna.<\/span><\/p>\n
